That I am me?
And laughter dies in a wet mouth
when really there is everything to live for.
That I am unable to free you today
to laugh, to dance, and fly.
Nor you me it seems.
I hang like a heavy chain
around your neck.
(I really wanted to be a pearl)
A constant gravity perhaps.
I even weigh your body down.
In my dreams I dance and fly
before you, with you, over you
and beneath you.
Free-unhindered by the past
and relishing the scarless present
I feel trapped today.
Doomed to be me,
unable to change, or laugh @ myself.
Haunted by the kindness
that could have spared you all this.
I sit here and fall in love
again.
Jealous of those who would possess you now,
the laughing dancing beauty
that feel through my fingers

Nice lines.
